Fusion Embedded Networking Stack a "Drop In" forMicrium µC/OS-II
Fully Ported Solutiosn for Industry Leading Operating Systems

The Fusion Networking Suite is now fully ported to Micrium's µC/OS-II. The integration of the Fusion and Micrium software solutions provides developers with easy access to an expanded list of protocols for Micrium's RTOS. The Fusion Embedded Networking stack includes the following protocols for µC/OS-II, which aren't available with Micrium's stack: IPv6, PPP/PPPoE, IGMP/MLDv2, IPSec, NAT, and RIP. Additionally, Unicoi's Fusion Networking Suite provides these stack-independent protocols: SNMP, CIFS Client, DHCP Server, HTTPSClient & Server with TLS/SSL, RTP, SIP, RTSP, SAP, SDP, SOAP, SOAP with TLS/SSL, and STUN.

Customers who have employed the Fusion Networking stack on devices running the Micrium µC/OS-II are calling it a "drop in". Yes, it is just that easy to make one of the industry's most prolific networking stacks a part of your µC/OS-II based design. Fusion Networking Suite customers need only enable the UCOS_II_RTOS flag to take advantage of one of the embedded industry's most valuable collaborations.

According to Jean Labrosse, Micrium CEO, "Customers of both companies benefit from a joint commitment to reduce time-to-market and provide rugged and proven solutions targeting a wide range of applications. It's beneficial to our µC/OS-II customers to have access to the Unicoi SNMP, SOAP, and WebPilot embedded browser."

The Fusion Networking Suite for µC/OS-II provides developers with a unique means of reducing development time with state-of-the-art networking protocols, including the Fusion TCP/IPv4/IPv6Phase-2 dual stack, while complying with most mission critical OS requirements, for multiple chip sets. Micrium μC/OS-II is immediatelycertifiable for the highest criticality systems, including DO-178B Level A, Class III medical devices, and SIL3/SIL4 IEC-certified systems. Simultaneously, Unicoi delivers highly adopted protocols for networking and multimedia development, including:  Fusion TCP/IP, RTP, SIP, RTSP, SNMPv3, embedded SOAP, HTTPS, IPsec, Common Internet File System (CIFS), and the Fusion WebPilot embedded browser. All Fusion protocols have been ported to the Micrium µC/OS-II and are ready for deployment, today.
