History: Unicoi, Net Silicon and the "Fusion" Brand

Many of the Digital News Flash readers have asked for a bit of history on Unicoi, the brand "Fusion" and how it all fits together. Three years ago, Unicoi acquired the Fusion line of software from Net Silicon, a subsidiary of Digi International (NASDAQ: DGII), to compliment Unicoi’s vast library of embedded software. Over the course of those years, Unicoi placed its entire embedded software suite under the Fusion brand, and used the full team of Unicoi developers to add features, functionality and significant improvements to the original Net Fusion (DGII) Fusion software offering.
